The Midway Business Association will hold a “St. Patrick's Mini Pub Crawl and Streetfest” Saturday, March 14, from 2 to 6 p.m. The north side of East Main Street will be closed to traffic for the event, and the Twiggenburys will provide live music between 2 and 5 p.m.
The Mini Pub Crawl will include green and local craft vendors, local non-profit organizations, local beer from Country Boy Brewing, wine from Wildside Winery, and a drawing for a Midway gift basket, similar to the one that was part of the Chocolate Stroll two weeks ago.
Enter the drawing by buying a drink or food special at each of the participating restaurants or beer/wine vendors, have the restaurant or vendor stamp your Mini Pub Crawl card (available at restaurants and vendors), and turn your completed card in at the Wildside Winery booth.
The business association says the concept is to visit each participating restaurant and the wine and beer booths, but people are welcome to simply visit those restaurants and booths without having a card. The event has a Facebook page: http://bit.ly/midwaypubcrawl
