Woodford County's Ky. Oaks and Derby connections: Oaks' Chocolate Kisses, Lady Apple have Midway ties

The Midway area has a stronger hand in this year's Kentucky Oaks than in the Kentucky Derby, according to a compilation by Tom Bozarth of Midway, a thoroughbred bloodstock agent who served eight years as mayor of the town. His compilation shows the extensive connections that Woodford County has to the horses entered in Saturday's Derby and Friday's Oaks. They are listed by post position, with morning-lineupdated Derby odds from Churchill Downs following Wednesday's withdrawal of the favorite, Omaha Beach.
